How long will my order take to arrive?

  • We aim to dispatch in-stock orders from Auckland within 1 full business day of the order being paid, but allow up to 5 working days. 
  • For items that are temporarily out of stock and dispatch is likely to exceed 5 working days, or we cannot fulfil your order at all, we will contact you.
  • For special orders including custom items, overseas stock, fabric and indents, dispatch will vary between 5-21 days. Please contact us if more accurate dispatch times are needed. 
  • Courier target delivery times NZ:
    • Dispatch is from Auckland.
    • We use Castle Parcels, Post Haste, NZ Couriers, MainStream, Urgent Couriers, NZ Post.
    • Target deliver times, once your payment has cleared (non-rural):
      • Auckland 1-3 day
      • North Island 2-4 days
      • South Island 3-6 days
      • Allow extra time for rural deliveries

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, Mollies Make & Create will ship to Australia (and internationally on request).

  • Australian freight cost is weight based and will be calculated at checkout prior to payment. 
  • Please select Australia shipping as applicable.
  • Freight fees are in NZ Dollars and exclude taxes, customs and import duties.
  • We aim to dispatch all orders within 1 business days of the order being paid.
  • For items that are temporarily out of stock we aim to dispatch within 5 working days. If a back-order is likely to exceed 5 working days, or we cannot fulfil your order at all, we will contact you. 
  • All orders are sent via international air freight to the delivery address provided during the checkout process.
  • Dispatch is from Auckland via NZ Post, then transferred over to AusPost. 
  • Target delivery dates set by NZ Post are: 
    • 3-10 working days, however this can vary depending on location. 

I have changed my mind, can I return an item?

  • Purchased items can be returned within 30 days of the purchase, excluding sale items, special order items, cut meterage items (fabric, piping, braiding, linings etc), custom made items, products ordered in for you, or gift vouchers.
  • Items must be in unused and in original, re-saleable condition.
  • Return your item with your invoice or receipt, your bank account details and reason for return.
  • The cost and liability of shipping the returns are the responsibility of the customer.
  • If your return request is accepted we will refund the original purchase price, excluding shipping.

My item has arrived broken, what can I do?

If you have received a broken or faulty item, the following applies:

  • On the rare occasion that you have received either a faulty or damaged item please contact our customer services team. 
  • The damaged or faulty item will need to be returned to us in most cases.
  • If your claim has been accepted we will refund you the purchase price, including the shipping. 

My order did not arrive, what happens now?

If you parcel does not show up within 5 working days of your order being sent:

  • Contact the courier company via the Track-and-Trace link that was emailed to you on the day your parcel was collected from Mollies Make & Create. 
  • If the courier advises you that the parcel has been lost, please contact our customer services for further assistance. 
  • If your parcel goes missing due to an error on our part, such as incorrect labelling, we will resend the order to you, subject to availability. If the item is not in stock, we will refund you the purchase price, including shipping.
  • If your parcel goes missing due to an error on your part, such as an incorrect address provided, no replacement or refund is provided. If your parcel is returned to us, we will refund you the purchase price, excluding shipping, or redeliver to you for an additional shipping fee. 

How much will my shipping cost?

We offer affordable weight-based shipping.

To find out how much the shipping will cost for your order, add items into your cart and start to proceed through checkout.

Your shipping will be calculated before you are asked to make payment. 

What does INDENT mean?

An indent product means that we do not hold in stock at our shop or warehouse.

We will order this product in for you from our suppliers, subject to availability. 

You will need to pay for the goods before we will place the order. 

What does BACKORDER mean?

A product that is says "backorder available"  means you can continue to purchase the item even if we have low or no stock available.

Generally a backorder product is a standard item that we regularly sell. You can order your desired amount regardless of the quantity we have in stock, or if it is currently out of stock on that day.  Simply add your quantity to the cart and checkout as normal. 

What does OVERSIZED order mean?

This means the product is too large to send via standard courier. You will either: 

  • Pickup from our store in Papakura, Auckland during shop opening hours
  • Ask us for a shipping quote to your location. 
  • Arrange freight forward (ie: organise your own shipping)
