🎥 How to stencil the floor with Vintage Paint

Our concrete floor is painted in Voodoo Molly Vintage Paint "Bone China"... but we wanted a bit more zing!

We have selected a huge Re-Design stencil and three lovely Vintage Paint colours to transform the floor! All you need is a stencil, mini foam roller with tray, masking tape and Voodoo Molly Vintage Paint!

Here are the steps you can take to transform your concrete floor with a stencil and Vintage Paint:

1. Clean the floor: Start by thoroughly cleaning the concrete floor to remove any dirt, dust, or debris. You can use a broom, vacuum, or mop to clean the surface. Make sure the surface is completely dry before proceeding.

2. Choose your stencil design: Select a stencil that you like and make sure it is the right size for your space. Mollies has a huge selection of stencils to pick from.

3. Secure the stencil in place: Use masking tape to secure the stencil in place on the floor. Make sure the edges of the stencil are firmly pressed against the floor to prevent any paint from seeping underneath.

4. Choose your paint colours: Select three Vintage Paint colors that complement each other and the existing "Bone China" color on your floor. You can choose colors that are similar in tone or go for a bold contrast.

5. Apply the first color: Pour a small amount of the first Vintage Paint color onto the mini foam roller tray. Dip the foam roller into the paint and remove any excess paint by rolling it onto card or paper. Apply the paint to the stencil in both directions. Make sure you cover the entire stencil with the first color.

6. Apply the second color: Once the first color is dry, remove the stencil and tape. Choose a new area of the floor to stencil and repeat the process with the second color.

7. Apply the third color: Once the second color is dry, repeat the process with the third color. You can use the same stencil or switch to a new one for added variety.

8. Allow the paint to dry: Once you have completed the stencil design and applied all three colors, allow the paint to dry completely. This may take several hours or overnight.

9. Apply a topcoat: To protect your newly painted floor, apply a topcoat of Voodoo Molly Vintage Clearcoat. This will seal the paint and make it more durable.

That's it! With a little bit of time and effort, you can transform your concrete floor into a work of art with a stencil and Vintage Paint.
