Upholstery regulator needles are long, slender tools used by upholsterers to adjust and smooth the padding beneath the fabric. They help by redistributing stuffing, aligning seams, and eliminating lumps or hollows without having to remove the fabric. These needles are especially handy when shaping curves, tightening corners, or adjusting stitched edges after the fabric has been tacked in place.
