Order Processing

NZ Post: We will courier your parcel only via NZ Post.
Oversized order: Shipping surcharge may apply, in addition to amount already paid.
Oversized item: Shipping options and costs will be discussed with you, or item may need to be picked up.

Can I use another hand press, instead of the CS Osborne button press?
Yes, it is possible to use another press, so long as the base plate and press plate has enough room to accomodate the die.
Do I need a button press to use these dies?
Yes you should use a press. However they can be used without one with manual effort and mixed results. The two main alternatives are:
- Heavy mallet to press the top die into the bottom die. This requires considerable effort and is often not always successful. It can also lead to damage to the components.
- A woodworker’s vice to gradually tighten and press the components together. This also has mixed results due to the vice lying on the sides as opposed to upright.
A proper hand press provides the most consistent results and reduces the risk of damage.
Warranty: Please note that dies are not covered under warranty if they are damaged by any pressing method other than a proper hand press.
