TRENCILO Lubed Polyester Thread is made from pre-stabilised, high tenacity, continuous filanebt polyester for machine sewing. It is used for high speed ornamental and decorative seams on footwear and leather goods. Its low stretch characteristics, soft finish and superior lubrication, that does not wear away the machine parts, offer exceptional sewing performance in high speed sewing machines allowing you to produce an attractive controlled seam on leather footwear and leather goods. It can be used for all kind of stitching and also for moccasins, soles, rands and welts.

Yes, this Trencilo Thread comes pre-waxed. The consistent wax coating makes hand stitching smoother and more controlled.
Do I need to wax it more?
No, extra waxing isn’t usually necessary. If you prefer a tackier feel, you can lightly add wax – but it’s good to go straight from the spool.
Can I use it in a sewing machine?
Not recommended. It’s a hand-stitching thread – flat, strong, and waxed – which doesn't feed smoothly through most domestic or industrial machines.
How do I store it?
Keep it in a dry, dust-free space, away from direct sunlight. A thread spool box or a simple zip-lock bag works well.

Yes. Trim your thread and carefully melt the end with a lighter or thread burner. Press it flat while still warm for a tidy finish.
