Smooth and/or shine a wide variety of metals. Recommended for bench burnisher and leather strop. Apply to a leather strop to sharpen stitching chisels, round knives or skiving knives.
- Grey: 320 grit. Used for heavy duty cleaning of hard metals
- White: 800 grit. Used for light polishing. Primarily used in the final finish of steel, stainless steel and zinc.
- Red: 1000 grit. Used for regular cleaning of metals. Most commonly used on steel blades and precious metals like jewellery.
- Brown: 800 grit. (don't contain aluminium oxide) for regular cleaning of hard metals, copper or brass. Good for removing light scratches, imperfections and oxidation.
- Green: 1200 grit. Used for high gloss polishing. Primarily used in the final buffing stage for stainless steel, brass, aluminium, nickel and chrome. The best all around luster compound for most metals, including maintaining edge bevellers.
